Description: Toddler Dress, Top and Pants
Fabric: Cotton with beautiful apple prints. Loved this fabric when i first saw it at Kak Haida's blog.
Size: 1/2 - 4. I made size 4 for 3 y.o. Safiya. The shoulder is quite wide for her, but Safiya will grow so it's ok.
Changes made: Instead of using 2 buttons at the yoke back, I used 3. That's the only adjustment I made as I decided to follow the pattern and instructions closely.

This yoke only completed after long two hours..what an amateur! Anyhow, quite proud with my no-sewing-class-attended-only-depends-on-passion-for-sewing skills.
Sewing buttonholes can be a bit scary. I never get my buttonhole placements marked right.
Lots of topstitching to create the professional look.
The dress looks very sweet on Safiya. Now I'm looking forward to sew another dress or top for her. Sewing this easy dress makes me want to sew more. I hope to have more time to sew.

durra...so sweet lah the dress! i've been eyeing this pattern too but still contemplating nak beli or not. is the sizing ok? coz sometime commercial paatern from the Big 4 company can be on the bigger side..

zura, i fully recommended this dress pattern. My advise is: look for the 'easy-to-sew' words, for amateur like us. I think the sizing is ok and it's my bad to use size 4 for 3yo kid! haha malas nak adjust. got the fabric from nagoya(textile).
cantiklah.. would love to try this pattern for my yasmin. yasmin pun suka apples ni.. belum boring lagi dia asik nak pakai.

K Wa,nak buat gak shirt for emir tapi tak start2 lagi. maybe next project-->pant for emir (tapi kalo dah buat utk emir, mesti kena buat untuk safiya jugak haha)
